I am an Experience and Hospitality Intern for Byrne Electrical from November 2021 to April 2022. In this position I plan to work with the Experience and HR Teams to create experiences that will continue to separate Byrne from other companies. Byrne works to celebrate the accomplishments of both the company and the individuals who work here. I am to assist in coordinating events of various sizes, reworking the plants sound system, and creating fresh impressions. The larger events coordinated by the Experience team can be found both listed below and on the main events page for further detail. The smaller activities can be found in the slides beneath the larger events section. My projects have included the Perfect Attendance Steak Dinner, Valentines Day, Super Bowl, Perfect Attendance Rodeo Luncheon, and Easter. I have supported and assisted hosting the Christmas Party at the JW Marriott, Welcoming employees as new US citizens, and the St. Patrick's Day Hooley at 20 Monroe Live. Upcoming projects I have planned, but will be held after I have left include Mother's Day, Father's Day, Reworking the Plant Music Systems, and the Family Outing. Throughout my time I have worked to improve processes such as Common Sense Manufacturing (CSM) excel sheets to automated processes, creating how to videos and step-by-step instructions for uncommon machines around the office such as the button maker, and introducing new cleaning methods to our welcome desk. Unique opportunities I have been involved in include: Reorganizing our warehouse, updating and creating report out posters, working as a front desk attendant, participating in afternoon plant-wide announcements, doing inventory on office supply locations, participating in cold calling with the recruitment team, and many more tasks.
