About. |
“I was able to learn a lot more about creating well-rounded experiences and finding what our students wanted. With that, I am able to transform events to be even more successful and allow our event guests to leave with more than they came with, which may include new friends, memories, and impressions.” |
“I ended up with this huge support system, all coming together for this common cause. Sure, it’s something small. It’s just a title for Homecoming at a football game, but seeing everyone acting this way, it was so wholesome. I’m so grateful to have this beautiful web of support around me.” |
Brooklyn Chaffee: 2021 Homecoming Regent
Hello! I’m Brooklyn, a senior studying Communications and Digital Studies. I am proud to be a member of this campus community and am involved in the Laker Marching Band, Campus Activities Board, Kappa Kappa Psi, Mario Kart Club, and almost a dozen other organizations. I love to be active on campus and have completed nearly one hundred hours of service over my years here. Being a Laker means sharing your skills with others and listening to the unique perspective of everyone around you. |

Jaden Walczak
My name is Jaden Walczak and I am a senior here, at Grand Valley. I am currently pursuing a major in Allied Health Sciences in hopes of becoming a Physician Assistant. In addition to my major, I have two minors. My first minor is Spanish. With my Spanish minor, I was able to study abroad to Sevilla, Spain where I lived with a host grandma who became my best friend. We still text to this day. My second minor is dance. I have been dancing since I was three years old and I was not ready to let this passion go when I came to Grand Valley. Having a dance minor has kept me sane in the midst of my science classes and given me a creative outlet. Outside of academics, I am involved with Sigma Kappa sorority and Delight ministries. Through my diverse areas of study and involvement at GVSU, I have created unforgettable memories and long lasting relationships. |
