Presidents' Ball is known at GVSU as a night of celebration. Faculty and student awards, guest speakers, acapella performances, jazz bands, swing performers, DJ's, dinner, dancing and more! The 1920's themed event, A Grand New Era, welcomed in the new year with a 500 person dinner and 5,000 person dance at Grand Rapids, MI DeVos Place ballrooms and Riverwalk on January 31, 2020. Presidents' Ball was nominated for Student Life Awards at the years end and won "Event of the Year."
